Press camp in Tucson with Teamtwenty24

Traveling to Tucson for press camp has been a welcome interruption to winter in Idaho. The weather was lovely and the desert impressively green. Athletes on the junior squad and elite program were there for training and team building. I had the privilege to work and laugh with them over the course of several days. This Women’s program is impressive on many levels. I noticed and certain openness amongst the athletes. They shared their vulnerabilities in ways uncharacteristic of many sports teams, and through that, they bonded. They became protective of one another if you will. They became a family.
